spherepetDeep rumblings from the far reaches of our solar system announce a powerful shift in social change as evolutionary Pluto in institutional Capricorn turns direct. Resources are freed up that could bring about the rebuilding of personal and governmental infrastructures, while the calculating Capricorn Moon means business as she conspires with potent Pluto. Meanwhile, an electric Mercury-Uranus misalignment indicates the possibility of a false start.
People won’t leave you alone as they try to get you to spill the beans today. Although you aren’t interested in revealing your inner world now, everyone seems to be ignoring your “Do Not Disturb” sign. Unfortunately, their insistence only drives your thoughts deeper, souring your good intentions. The problem is that what you suppress will only gain strength unless you face your fears and express what’s in your heart. Charlie Chaplin said, “You need power only when you want to do something harmful; otherwise love is enough to get everything done.”
Last night saw the beginning of a cold snap that has greatly reduced the weather temperatures we have enjoyed. Our late summer seems to be over. The cold has affected everyone’s behaviour and Peter has slept in until about 2:00 pm. It is not unusual for Peter to sleep in and so missed his mall walk. It is a day when we will stay inside where it is comfortably warm.
I’ve spent the better part of the week immersed in Battlestar Galactica, the series. It is a deeply involved study of human and non-human interaction. I don’t believe the full intent of the story nor the references to basic human values. I do have interest in the series because of the military plot to save humanity. It doesn’t tell the whole story accurately. For that, the fiction overlay hides the outright failures in telling the story.
It is a way of losing time and boredom when fiction becomes more familiar than reality. I can’t count the number of times I have been out cold because of one thing or another. I don’t think of myself as a hero but I have done many heroic acts that I felt had made a difference. Did it really make a difference or was it all going to happen anyways? Right.
There have been times in my life when I thought I was living my dream. It took all I had to hang on to what I had. A few times there was a total loss of my possessions as a result of moving. Still, I stayed alive and kept my health in most respects. However, I did have a lot of mental troubles that plagued me over the years. It isn’t fun to fight the invisible when the nightmares can continue on in daylight. That’s the trouble with having a severe case of PTSD.
